SFA will be at the PLMA World of Private Label in the RAI exhibition centre, Amsterdam. It’s the world’s leading trade show for private label professionals and suppliers to meet, increase their knowledge and let their business shine. It’s also where, on our stand 7.38 in hall 7, we will be proudly presenting the JOZO NextCycle salt shaker, the SFA slimline and the lightweight dairy packaging. We will also be showcasing more SFA innovations that support our sustainable mission: to minimise our carbon footprint and combat food waste.
JOZO wanted to create a 100% recyclable salt shaker that is suitable for high print quality and has a user-friendly seal.
In collaboration with MCC Verstraete, we applied NextCycle IML™ technology. This technology is the core of the innovation and makes sure the InMold label detaches from the shaker during recycling, resulting in a purer PP recyclate. PACKAGING WORLD, a leading US trade magazine, even highlighted the revamped JOZO salt shaker as an example of sustainable innovation.
This circular packaging, that should also meet future sustainability standards, is thanks to the collaboration and perseverance of JOZO, SFA, MCC Verstraete and CIRCPACK by Veolia.
We’re introducing a new range of plastic packaging under the name ‘SFA Slimline’, that’s characterised by its slim appearance and smart design. By getting the most out of technological innovations, we were able to develop packaging that is significantly lighter and still meets all the quality requirements.
In addition to the SFA Slimline series with TE break closure, we have also developed a full range of sealable packaging. Both series are available in a variety of sizes, and one lid fits several models.
In 2023, we introduced a new line of sustainable lightweight dairy packaging. Available in two sizes, this kg packaging is 35% lighter than the guidelines ask for. Moreover, it’s 100% recyclable, marking an important new step in reducing the impact packaging has on our environment.
In addition to this sustainable development, a clever cup design creates greater impact on the shelf. Thanks to the slimmer edge, the print surface for the InMold Label has been increased. The packaging can be supplied with and without a handle, making it extremely versatile. A number of major players in the dairy industry are already using these cups for their yoghurt.
At SFA, we create innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that are not only good for the environment, but also improve the operational efficiency of your business.
