SFA Packaging at EMPACK 2026
From April 14 to 16, 2026, SFA Packaging will be present at EMPACK in the Evenementenhal Gorinchem as part of the TailorPack Group. At stand G14, we will demonstrate how we develop packaging solutions that combine functionality, product protection, and sustainability.
EMPACK is an important meeting place for professionals who work on smart packaging choices every day. That is why we will be there to share knowledge and discuss current issues surrounding packaging, material use, and shelf life.
Our innovations
During EMPACK 2026, we will demonstrate how our latest solutions contribute to smarter and more sustainable packaging. Among other things, we will present:
Rectangular yogurt pot
A lightweight, fully recyclable yogurt container with a rectangular shape. Thanks to its smart design, up to 33% more containers fit on a tray, resulting in less air transport, lower logistics costs, and lower CO₂ emissions. The packaging is produced locally and designed with future regulations in mind, including the PPWR. In addition, the solution is suitable for applications with bio-circular material and NextCycle IML.
Molded fiber inlay
Molded Fiber is a single-material packaging solution based on cellulose, in which paper pulp is molded into light and sturdy inlays. Thanks to the flexibility of the material, a wide range of shapes and applications are possible, making Molded Fiber widely applicable in various sectors.
In 2025, we developed a Molded Fiber inlay for Tony’s Chocolonely’s advent calendar, demonstrating how sustainability and practical processability can be combined in a single solution. The inlay can be processed together with cardboard in a single recycling stream and is designed with future recycling requirements in mind, in line with European PPWR guidelines.
