On 28 and 29 May, SFA will be at PLMA's World of Private Label at the RAI exhibition centre, Amsterdam. It is the world's leading trade fair for private label professionals and suppliers to meet, enrich their knowledge and excel their business. Here, we are proud to present the JOZO NextCycle salt shaker, the SFA slimline and the lightweight dairy packaging at our stand in hall 7, 7.38. Of course, there we will showcase more SFA innovations that support our sustainable mission: to minimise our carbon footprint and combat food waste.
JOZO had the desire to create a 100% recyclable salt shaker that would also be suitable for high print quality and with a user-friendly closure.
In collaboration with MCC Verstraete, we applied NextCycle IML™ technology. This technology is at the heart of this innovation and allows the InMold Label to detach from the shaker during recycling. This results in a purer PP recyclate. PACKAGING WORLD, a leading US trade magazine, even highlighted the revamped JOZO salt shaker as an example of sustainable innovation.
The collaboration and perseverance of JOZO, SFA, MCC Verstraete and CIRCPACK by Veolia to create packaging that would be future-proofed to sustainability standards has resulted in this circular packaging now being a reality.
We are introducing a new range of plastic packaging under the name 'SFA Slimline', characterised by a slim appearance and smart design. By making maximum use of the latest technical innovations, we have developed significantly lighter packaging that still meets all quality requirements.
In addition to the SFA Slimline series with (TE) break closure, we have also developed a full range of sealable packaging. Both series are available in a diverse range of capacity sizes, with multiple models naturally falling under the same lid.
2023 introduced a new line of sustainable lightweight dairy packaging. Available in two sizes, this Kg packaging is 35% lighter than guidelines and 100% recyclable. An important new step in reducing the impact packaging has on our environment.
In addition to this sustainable development, a clever design of the cup makes for more impact on the shelf. The slimmer rim has increased the print area for IML (InMould Label). The containers can be supplied with and without a handle, ensuring flexible use. A number of major players in the dairy industry now pack their yoghurt in these cups.
At SFA, we create innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that are not only good for the environment, but also improve your company's operational efficiency. Are you inspired by this story and want to know more about how we work at SFA Packaging? Visit us at the PLMA or contact us directly.
