From 14 to 16 April 2026, SFA Packaging will be present at EMPACK in the Evenementenhal Gorinchem as part of TailorPack Group. On stand G14, we will show how we develop packaging solutions that combine functionality, product protection and sustainability.
EMPACK is an important meeting point for professionals who work on smart packaging choices on a daily basis, which is why we will be present to share knowledge and discuss current issues around packaging, material use and shelf life.
During EMPACK 2026, we will show how our latest solutions contribute to smarter and more sustainable packaging. Among other things, we will present:
Rechthoekige yoghurtpot
A lightweight, fully recyclable yoghurt packaging with a rectangular shape. The clever design allows up to 33% more packs to fit on a tray, reducing air transport, logistics costs and CO₂ emissions. The packaging is produced locally and is designed with future regulations in mind, including the PPWR. In addition, the solution is suitable for applications with bio-circular material and NextCycle IML.
Molded fibre inlay
Molded Fiber is a mono-material packaging solution based on cellulose, where paper pulp is formed into light and sturdy inlays. Thanks to the material's flexibility, a variety of shapes and applications are possible, making Molded Fiber broadly applicable within various sectors.
In 2025, we developed a Molded Fiber inlay for Tony's Chocolonely's advent calendar, showing how sustainability and practical processability come together in one solution. The inlay can be processed together with cardboard in one recycling stream and was designed with future recycling requirements in mind, in line with the European PPWR guidelines.
At SFA Packaging, we believe that the best packaging is created in collaboration. During EMPACK 2026, our specialists will be happy to think along about concrete packaging issues, from optimising existing solutions to developing new concepts that fit product, process and market.
