New line of pioneering dairy packaging
This year, SFA Packaging launched a new line of sustainable, lightweight dairy packaging. Available in 1,000ml and 1,100ml, these yoghurt packs are up to 35% lighter than benchmarks and fully recyclable. It is a pioneering step in further reducing the carbon footprint of packaging materials.
Sustainability as a starting point
A key starting point in developing these new packaging was sustainability. We worked hard on this in consultation with a number of customers. Because the packaging is made of 100% mono-material, it can be completely reused after use. Furthermore, the packaging is designed to take up less weight and less space during transport. In all respects, the packaging has been developed to be future-proof.
Innovative design
The design is also innovative. The slimmer edge has increased the decoration space through IML (In Mould Label*). Furthermore, the packaging can be supplied with or without a handle, ensuring flexible use. Meanwhile, the packaging has been used with satisfaction by three major players in the dairy industry.
