A leading Scandinavian manufacturer of sauces and salads was looking for a sustainable solution for their packaging that would also reinforce their brand identity. The challenge: an environmentally friendly and cost-effective packaging with a luxury look, that would also work seamlessly in existing filling lines.
The new packaging design
had to meet a number of requirements. The packaging had to be lighter, while still retaining its sturdiness. The new design also had to integrate smoothly into the production line. Our Slimline range offered the perfect solution. Thanks to its optimised shape and dimensions, the new mono-material packaging was easily integrated into the customer’s filling line. Our technical support during implementation ensured a smooth transition and rapid integration.

In addition to its functionality, the packaging had to have a premium look, to emphasise the quality of the sauces and salads. We achieved this by working closely with the customer. This close cooperation resulted in a sustainable solution from our Slimline range made of mono-material. The packaging uses less material than benchmarked options, it’s leak-proof, and is fully compatible with existing production lines.
In-mould labelling (IML) gives the packaging a luxury appearance, with clear, sharp and above all high-quality graphics applied directly to the packaging. The lighter packaging also contributes to a lower carbon footprint.
