SFA recently completed a perfect packaging solution for a major supplier of a specifically Dutch winter product: kruidnoten.
Kruidnoten (lit. “spice nuts”- a kind of small, traditional cookies eaten by the handful in the Netherlands).
When the Bolletje company came to SFA with the question to contribute ideas for a To Go packaging they had specific requirements: a packaging that would fit in a car cup holder. The Dutch love to eat their kruidnoten everywhere, including on the go, so the design would have to allow for plenty of volume per cup and manoeuvring room to get the very last delicacy from the bottom.
At SFA, we harnessed the power of our wide product range, the largest assortments of injection moulding packaging in Europe. After considering the options, we suggested a completely mono-material lightweight 500ml model. The product meets the client specifications, is appealing in looks and unique within the Dutch market.
