A European manufacturer of Bubble Tea approached SFA Italia Srl, subsidiary of SFA Packaging, with a desire for eye-catching single-use packaging for Bubble Tea. Until then, the drinks were sold exclusively in 2- and 3-litre buckets. The introduction into new distribution channels required a practical on-the-go format, which is not only user-friendly but also attracts immediate attention on the shelf.
From the first meeting, SFA's team worked closely with the client to make the vision a reality in a short time. In just three months, the project grew from initial sketches to full industrial production
The biggest challenge was developing a customised solution compatible with our injection moulding and IML technology. This meant a marked departure from the market standard, where thermoform cups are the norm. Injection moulding allowed us not only to meet all functional requirements, but also to offer more creative freedom in design and strengthen the brand experience.
