SFA Packaging is a leading packaging company with an international focus and more than two decades of experience in developing high-quality, innovative and sustainable plastic packaging especially for the food industry. We work exclusively with 100% recyclable mono-materials and specialise in designing light, thin injection-moulded packaging that stands out on the shelf as well as contributing to a better environment. SFA Packaging is located with 17 colleagues in Middelharnis and is part of TailorPack Group B.V., a group of specialised packaging companies. 

Who are you? 

Are you administratively strong, do you pick up tasks quickly, do you work accurately and do you have an affinity with accounting systems? Then we are looking for you! In this role, you will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of our financial processes. You like structure, like to think along and feel at home in an organisation where your initiative and accuracy really make a difference. 

What will you do? 

As a (financial) administrative assistant, you work in the financial administration and ensure that all transactions that follow from our operation are processed accurately and on time in our systems. In addition, you will assist colleagues and customers in adequately answering questions and (ad hoc) requests. 

You do all this in a team of three where there is plenty of room to develop and you are given the space to manage your own tasks and projects. Own initiative is appreciated within SFA Packaging. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Processing bank payments, purchase and sales invoices and statements such as VAT, ICP and CBS; 
  • Supporting the financial administration; 
  • Contribute to timely and accurate processing of financial data; 
  • Ensure tax obligations are met in a timely and correct manner; 
  • Active involvement in monthly closing, ensuring correct processing of financial transactions and reports; 
  • You will join an organisation that is on the move and where the customer and the product are central. At SFA Packaging, it's not just about what we do, but how we build an innovative and impactful future together. 
  • You will be introduced to our products, people and systems. We will guide you in your current role through active on-site coaching. Depending on your development and ambition, your range of tasks may be further expanded in the future. 
  • During the induction period you will work at our office in Middelharnis, after this there is the possibility to work one day at home by mutual agreement. 

 What do we offer? 

  • Fixed-term contract of one year; 
  • Part-time employment of 32 hours; 
  • 29 holidays (of which 20 are statutory and 9 above statutory), for full-time employment of 40 hours per week; 
  • 8% holiday pay; 
  • Salary range of €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month for a full-time employment of 40 hours per week, depending on the experience you bring; 
  • Collective pension scheme; 
  • Commuting allowance from 10 km one way: € 0.23 per km;

What do you bring? 

  • Minimum relevant work experience in a similar position where you can independently process bank payments and purchase and sales invoices; 
  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial direction; 
  • You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing in both Dutch and English; 
  • You have a proactive and inquisitive attitude; 
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting is a plus.
